How Does Liquid Rhinoplasty Work?

Liquid rhinoplasty uses dermal fillers to temporarily make cosmetic changes to the nose such as a nasal hump, imperfections of the nasal tip, and problems with the bridge. The filler is administered via a series of injections that are meticulously placed.

Treatment, Downtime, and Results

For liquid rhinoplasty, only a topical numbing anesthetic is needed. It’s a quick in-office treatment (approximately 30 minutes) that is done using injections. While you may feel a little pressure during the injections, pain is minimal. The majority of patients return to their regular day following a liquid rhinoplasty, with only very mild side effects (which include swelling and bruising). Every dermal filler is different, so the results will last different amounts of time. The average longevity of results is 6-8 months, but during your consultation with Dr. Grossman, she will let you know how long you can expect your results to last. Maintenance treatments can be performed as needed.
