Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) offers a completely natural way to stimulate tissue repair and regeneration and build brand-new collagen and elastin for various parts of the body.
Our blood contains plasma that contains platelets. Those platelets contain dozens of growth factors, and these growth factors are what are responsible for invigorating the skin during a PRP treatment.

On the day of your appointment, blood will be drawn from you. It will be placed inside a centrifuge so that the plasma can be separated from impurities. Once separated, the plasma is injected into the areas where it is needed. PRP is also frequently used with other treatments such as microneedling or facial fillers.
PRP requires no downtime. You’ll be able to go right back to your regular day, although you may have some tenderness, bruising, itchiness, and/or scabs in the treated area for a short time. Results take approximately three months, with final results visible at 6-12 months.
